Do I need a certificate (GIA) to sell?
It helps, but it isn't required. If you have a GIA or similar grading report, bring it — Peter will still want to examine the stone in person either way.
Natural vs. lab-grown — does it matter?
Yes, it's assessed differently. Let Peter know which type you have (or if you're not sure) when you come in, and he'll walk you through it.
Will you buy a diamond still set in a ring?
Yes — engagement rings and other mounted diamond jewelry are handled the same as loose stones.

General education only — not an appraisal. Every diamond is unique, so Peter examines each piece in person before any figure is discussed.
